How to Change Profile Picture on Truth Social?

This article teaches you how to change the Truth Social background color from light to dark using Night Mode as well as how to change your profile's background image.

While Truth Social doesn’t allow you to select a theme color for your Truth Social background, you can apply a dark background by enabling Night Mode.

Changing your Truth Social profile's header image will also change the background at the top of your Truth Social profile.

Method 1

Enabling Night Mode

1. Open Truth Social. Go to https://truthsocial.com in your computer's web browser (desktop) or tap the Truth Social app icon (mobile). This will open your Truth Social feed if you're logged in.

· If you aren't logged into your Truth Social account, enter your username (or phone number, or email address) and password where indicated, then select login.

2. Select your profile icon. Click or tap the profile icon in the top-right corner of the page on the computer or in the upper-left corner of the screen on mobile. A drop-down menu will appear.

3. Enable Night Mode. Click Night mode at the bottom of the drop-down menu on a computer or tap the moon-shaped icon in the lower-left corner of the screen on mobile. As long as Night Mode wasn't previously enabled, this will enable Night Mode and cause your Truth Social background to darken.

· You'll also notice that dark text will become light to stand out against the dark background.

· If Night Mode is already enabled, selecting this option will disable it and brighten your Truth Social background.

Method 2

Changing the Profile Header Image

1. Open Truth Social. Go to https://truthsocial.com/ in your computer's web browser (desktop) or tap the Truth Social app icon (mobile). This will open your Truth Social feed if you're logged in.

· If you aren't logged into your Truth Social account, enter your username (or phone number, or email address) and password where indicated, then select login.

2. Select your profile icon. Click or tap the profile icon in the top-right corner of the page (desktop) or in the upper-left corner of the screen (mobile). A drop-down menu will appear.

3. Select Profile. It's near the top of the menu. Doing so opens your profile page.

4. Select Edit profile. This option is towards the top-right corner of the window. Clicking or tapping it will place your profile page in edit mode.

5. Upload a new header photo. Depending on whether you're on the desktop website or the mobile app version of Truth Social, this process will vary:

· Desktop: Click Change your header photo, click Upload photo, select a photo from your computer, and click Open.

· Mobile: Tap the header photo, tap Choose existing photo (Android only), select a photo from your smartphone or tablet, and tap Apply.

6. Save your changes. Click Save Changes on the right side of the page (desktop) or tap Save in the top-right corner of the screen (mobile). This will exit edit mode on your profile and replace your current header photo with the one you've chosen.
