How to Delete a Truth
This post teaches you how to delete both original Truths and retruths from your Truth Social profile.
You can do this on desktop and mobile platforms, though keep in mind that you cannot delete someone else's Truths, nor can you delete their responses to your Truths.

Method 1
How to Delete a Truth On a Mobile
1.
Open Truth Social. Tap the Truth Social app icon, which
resembles a white bird on a blue background. This will open your Truth Social
feed if you're logged in.

If you aren't logged into your Truth Social
account, enter your email address (or username) and password before proceeding.
2.
Tap your profile image - a circular icon in the top-left corner
of the screen. A pop-out menu will appear.
3.
Tap Profile. This option is at the top of
the pop-out menu.
4.
Select a Truth. Scroll down to find the Truth you want to
remove, then tap the Truth to open it.

If the Truth you want to remove is a retruth
rather than a Truth you posted, skip ahead to the "Remove a retruth from
your profile" step at the end of this section.
5. Tap ^

It's in the upper-right corner of the screen. If you want to delete a response that
you posted to the Truth, first scroll down to the response.
6.
Tap Delete Truth. This is the red-text option in the
pop-up menu. On Android, this option is at the bottom of the pop-up window.
7.
Tap Delete when prompted. Doing so will remove the Truth from
your profile. On Android, you'll instead tap YES when
prompted.
8.
Remove a retruth from your profile. If you retruthed someone else's
content, you can remove it from your profile by tapping the green "retruth"
icon below the Truth and then tapping Undo retruth when
prompted.

You may first have to scroll down a bit to see the
"retruth" option.
· You can't use the menu that you use to delete original Truths to delete a retruth.

Method 2
How to Delete a Truth On Desktop
1.
Open Truth Social. Go to https://www.truthsocial.com/ in your computer's web browser. This
will open your Truth Social feed if you're logged in.

If you aren't logged in, enter your email address
(or username) and password before proceeding.
2.
Click your profile icon. This circular icon is on the upper-right
side of the page. A drop-down menu will appear.
3.
Click Profile. It's in the drop-down menu.
4.
Select a Truth. Scroll down to the Truth you want to
delete, then click it to open it in a pop-up window.

If the Truth you want to remove is a retruth
rather than a Truth you posted, skip ahead to the "Remove a retruth from
your profile" step at the end of this section.
5.
Tap ^. It's in the upper-right corner of the Truth's
pop-up window. This prompts a drop-down menu. If you want to delete a response
that you posted to the Truth, first scroll down to the response.
6.
Click Delete Truth. This is in the drop-down menu.
7.
Click Delete when prompted. Doing so will remove the Truth from your
profile.
8.
Remove a retruth from your profile. If you retruthed someone else's content,
you can remove it from your profile by clicking the green "Retruth"
icon below the Truth.
· You may have to scroll down to see the "Retruth" icon.

How do I delete a Truth I've been mentioned in or someone sent to me?
You can't delete Truths that other people
have sent. If you feel a Truth someone sent you or mentioned you violate Truth
Social's guidelines, you can report them, instead.
How can I delete multiple Truths at once?
There is no way to bulk-delete Truths. You
can only delete Truths one by one.
How do I delete a Truth I sent to someone?
You can delete Truths you've sent to someone using the same steps mentioned above. It's no different from deleting a Truth without a recipient/tag in it.

You can't edit any Truths.
How do I delete a reTruth using an iPad?
Just click on the "ReTruth" button.
How can I delete a reTruth that I shared from someone's wall?
The same way you'd delete a normal Truth. Go
to your profile and find the Truth, click the arrow in the corner, and select delete.
How do I delete my Truth Social?
Go to Truth Social Settings and select
"Deactivate My Account".
How do I delete a Truth that is sent from someone I follow?
You can't delete that.
Tips
While you can't delete another person's Truth,
you can report it if needed: click or tap the icon in the upper-right corner of
the Truth, then select the Report Truth and fill out the form
that appears.
Warnings!
·
Although you can block people, you cannot delete
other people's replies to your Truths.
·
Unfortunately, mass-deleting Truths is impossible.
· It may take deleted Truths up to two weeks to disappear from Google search result previews, though attempting to access deleted Truths through Google will result in an error.
