How to Download Videos from Truth Social

This post teaches you how to download a video from Truth Social on a computer.

You can do this using a couple of different third-party websites; if one of them is down or unavailable for one of your videos, the other will most likely function.

Unfortunately, you cannot download Truth Social videos onto a smartphone.

Method 1: Using the TwDown Site

1. Open Truth Social. Go to https://truthsocial.com/ in your computer's web browser. This will open your Truth Social feed if you're logged in.

· If you aren't logged into Truth Social, click Log in, then enter your Truth Social account's email address and password.

2. Find a video to download. Scroll through your Truth Social feed until you find the Truth in which the video is embedded.

· If you reTruthed the video, you can find it on your profile by clicking your profile icon, clicking Profile in the drop-down menu, clicking the Media tab near the top of your profile, and scrolling down to the video.

· You can search for the video's poster by entering their username into the search bar on the upper-right side of the page.

3. Open the video. Click the "Play" button on the video to open and begin playing the video.

4. Right-click the video. The video will be paused, and a one-item menu will appear.

· If your mouse doesn't have a right-click button, click the right side of the mouse, or use two fingers to click the mouse.

· If your computer has a trackpad instead of a mouse, tap or push the bottom-right side of the trackpad with two fingers.

5. Click Copy Video Address. It should be near your mouse's cursor. This will copy the video's address to your computer's clipboard.

6. Open the TwDown website. Go to https://twdown.net/ in your computer's web browser. This website will reliably allow you to download most Truth Social videos.

7. Click the video URL text box. It's the white box in the middle of the page.

8. Paste in the video's address. Press Ctrl+V (Windows) or ⌘ Command+V (Mac) to do so.

· You can also right-click the textbox and then click Paste in the resulting drop-down menu.

9. Click Download. This grey button is to the right of the URL text box.

10. Click the top Download link. It's in the middle of the page. Doing so will open your video to a new page.

11. Click the download icon. Depending on your browser and settings, you can click the down-arrow icon to start the video download, or you can right-click the video and select "Download Video" in the drop-down menu.

Method 2: Using the sssTruth Social Site

1. Open Truth Social. Go to https://truthsocial.com/ in your computer's web browser. This will open your Truth Social feed if you're logged in.

· If you aren't logged into Truth Social, click Log in, then enter your Truth Social account's email address and password.

2. Find a video to download. Scroll through your Truth Social feed until you find the Truth in which the video is embedded.

· You can search for the video's poster by entering their username into the search bar on the upper-right side of the page.

3. Open the video's Truth. Click the Truth that contains the video to expand the Truth. Do not click the video.

4. Change the current URL. In the address bar near the top of your browser, you'll see an address that resembles https://truthsocial.com/[link]; you'll need to add sss between the https:// and the TruthSocial section of the address.

· Your completed URL should look like this: https://sssTruth Social.com/[link].

5. Press Enter. Doing so will take you to the sss TruthSocial website, which will allow you to download Truth's video.

6. Click one of the Download links. You'll see several different download links next to quality numbers (e.g., "1280 x 720") in the middle of the page; right-click your preferred Download link and select "Save as" to save the desired video.

7. Click the download icon. Depending on your browser and settings, you can click the down-arrow icon to start the video download, or you can right-click the video and select "Download Video" in the drop-down menu. If the video is playing instead of downloading, long tap on the video and then choose "Save File".
