Method 1

Using Advanced Search on a Computer

1.              Go to https://truthsocial.com in a web browser. If you're not already signed in, enter your login details into the blanks, and then click or tap login.

2.             Type anything into the search bar and press Enter or Return.  You'll need to do this to open up the screen that displays search results.

3.             Click Advanced Search. You'll see this in the rightmost column under the "Search filters" header. This opens the advanced search form.

4.            Enter the person's Truth Social name into the "From these accounts" field. It's the first field on the form under the "Accounts" header; you might have to scroll down to find it.

·        For example, if you wanted to search @BBC's Truths, you'd type BBC here.

5.             Choose other parameters for your search. The other fields in the advanced search form can help you find exactly which Truths you're looking for.

·        The "Words" section lets you choose to see Truths that include (or don't include) certain words and phrases. This section is great when you need to find Truths referencing certain subjects—for example if you wanted to search all of @BBC's Truths for mentions of Manchester United, you could type Manchester United into the "All of these words" field. Or, for broader results about the English Premier League, you could type Chelsea Arsenal Man City into the "Any of these words" field. And if you didn't want any of those results to include the word "Liverpool," you could add Liverpool to the "None of these words" field.

·        The "Filters" section lets you choose whether to include replies in your search results, as well as Truths with links.

·        The "Engagements" section lets you choose whether to see Truths with certain amounts of likes, replies, and retruths.

·        Use the "Dates" section to view Truths from a specific date range.

6.            Click the Search button at the top-right corner of the search form.

·        Click the Latest tab at the top of the page to view the results in chronological order. The most recent Truth matching your search criteria will appear first in the list.

Using Advanced Search on a Phone or Tablet

1.              Go to https://truthsocial.com in a web browser. Even if you're using the Truth Social app on a phone or tablet, you'll need a web browser to use Truth Social's Advanced Search tool.

·        If you're not already signed in to your account, you'll want to do so now.

2.             Tap the magnifying glass icon. It's the second icon at the bottom of the page. This opens the Search form.

3.             Type anything into the search bar and press Enter or Search. This can really be anything, including the word anything. A list of results will appear.

4.            Tap the three-dot icon. It's at the top-right corner of the page. A menu will expand.

5.             Tap Advanced search on the menu. This opens the Advanced version of the Search form.

6.            Type the person's Truth Social name into the "From these accounts" field. This field, which is the first one below the "Accounts" header, can be found by scrolling down a little.

·        For example, if you wanted to search @BBC's Truths, you'd type BBC here.

7.             Choose other parameters for your search. The other fields in the advanced search form can help you find exactly which Truths you're looking for.

·        The "Words" section lets you choose to see Truths that include (or don't include) certain words and phrases. This section is useful if you're looking for Truths referencing certain topics—for example, if you wanted to see all of @BBC's Truths about Manchester United, you could type Manchester United into the "All of these words" field. Or, for more results, you could type Manchester United Premier League into the "Any of these words" field.

8.            Scroll up and tap the Search button. It's the blue button at the top-right corner of the page. This displays the top Truths from the selected account.

·        Tap the Latest tab at the top of the page to view the results in chronological order. The most recent Truth matching your search criteria will appear first in the list.

Method 3

Using Search Operators

1.              Log into your Truth Social account. Launch the Truth Social app or visit https://truthsocial.com in your web browser. You should sign in to your account right now if you haven't already.

·        Search operators are special codes that refine your search results. If you're searching for Truths from a particular Truth Social user, you can use these codes to specify which types of results you'd like to receive.

2.             Tap the magnifying glass to open the Search bar (mobile only). This step is not necessary if you're using Truth Social in a web browser on your computer.

3.             Type from:BBC into the search bar. Replace BBC with the handle of the Truth Social user whose Truths you want to search.

4.              Enter additional search operators. If you just want to see all Truths from that user and not specify other parameters, you can skip this step. But if you do want to refine your results, here are some options:

·        from:BBC hello This displays all Truths from the user "BBC" that contains the word "hello."

·        from:BBC how to do anything Since there are no quotes around the words, this will search for all Truths from user "BBC" that contain all of those words in a single Truth. You can enter as many words as you want, and even use hashtags.

·        from:BBC "how to do anything" Now that you've added quotes, this searches for all Truths by the user "BBC" containing the exact phrase "how to do anything."

·        from:BBC how -to do anything The minus sign before the word "to" means that this searches for all Truths containing the words "how," "do," and "anything" that do not include the word "to."

·        from:BBC :) The smiley face will return all Truths from the user that indicate a positive attitude. Replace the smiley with a sad face :( to see just the Truths that Truth Social thinks to indicate a negative attitude.

·        For a full list of search operators, visit https://developer.Truth Social.com/en/docs/Truth Social-api/v1/rules-and-filtering/search-operators.

5.             Press Enter or Return. You may need to tap Search instead if you're on a phone or tablet. This displays all Truths from the selected user that match the criteria you entered.

·        Click the Latest tab at the top of the page to view the results in chronological order. The most recent Truth matching your search criteria will appear first in the list.
